Here at Galleon International Shipping Co. Limited we feel it is important to keep you updated and informed about how we are responding to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Although existing restrictions are being eased /removed altogether, we at Galleon International feel it is important that all parties involved in the move chain process continue to take steps to minimise the risk of spreading the virus. The way to manage those risks is to carry out a health and safety risk assessment, including the risk of COVID-19, and to then take reasonable steps to mitigate the risks identified.
What does this mean for Galleon International and our customers ?
Office – Our office staff are splitting their working week between the office and home to minimise the number of people in the office at one time.
Surveys – We are still offering to perform pre-move surveys remotely and our move consultants are on hand to guide you through this.
Crew –All crew will have the necessary PPE and together with your help adhering to social distancing measures we can reduce the risk to the lowest practical level.
Our responsibility as an employer is first and foremost the health of our employees, partners and customers.
Here at Galleon we are following the measures that have been put in place by the Government and Public Health England. We are continually monitoring the situation and will update this statement as and when necessary.
